Iron is also necessary for making dopamine. Some clinicians have stated that low levels of iron can cause fatigue, poor appetite, restlessness, and headaches.
These minerals are best absorbed through food and a proper diet. Make certain you and your family are eating enough foods with these minerals. You might consider asking your doctor to check for low levels. Supplements may only be necessary when you’re not able to absorb them through food or you have a picky eater on your hands.
